Job description

We’re looking for an Account Executive to join our EMEA Sales Team to help us continue building our presence and brand in the DACH region! You’ll be joining a diverse and energetic group, responsible for doing demos with prospective clients, closing deals, and representing ChannelEngine at events and trade shows.

What will you do as an Account Executive?

You’ll be contributing to expanding our sales activities across the DACH region by taking the qualified leads of your BDR colleagues, and further developing the relationships with prospective clients through demos and customised presentations that align with their needs. You’ll guide clients through the decision-making process, handle objections, and effectively manage the relevant stakeholders and negotiations, ultimately closing the sales and ensuring a smooth transition to onboarding. 🚀

Proactively identifying and researching new direct- and indirect business opportunities, and developing long term business relationships are also key elements of this role. As an ambassador for ChannelEngine, you’ll also participate in trade shows and conferences to increase brand awareness and grow your network.

Job requirements

What makes you the ideal Account Executive?

  • 3+ years’ experience in B2B SaaS sales,
  • Good communication skills in both German and English,
  • Able to handle a few ‘no’s before receiving a ‘yes’,
  • Outgoing and proactive,
  • An interest in the e-commerce industry,
  • Currently living near Leiden, Netherlands or Berlin, Germany.

Why you’ll love working here

  • You’ll be working in an open and collaborative company with +/-200 colleagues of over 40 different nationalities 🌎
  • We offer a professional, yet informal work environment, where it’s easy for you to try new things, share your ideas, and make an impact
  • We have a continuous feedback culture to help you track your progress and facilitate your professional development 🎯
  • We offer an annual on-target bonus, paid in monthly installments 💰
  • 30 holiday days, plus national holidays
  • Exciting opportunities to travel and attend events
  • We want to make sure everyone is supported mentally and emotionally which is why we provide free access to mental healthcare support
  • You’ll be granted equity benefits so that we can grow together 🌱
  • We make sure you have a comfortable and ergonomic work set-up, both at home and at the office, plus all of the tools (and swag 👕) you need to do your job well
