Your mission

In this role, you are responsible for creating content about our products, systems and solutions. You ensure that our communication messages are targeted and effective for our customer segments, while keeping internal processes smooth and efficient. As a content specialist ‘you know how to make the benefits obvious with words- and unforgettable with visuals’. By doing so you contribute to increasing our customer engagement and support our sales ambitions.

This position offers a unique and rewarding opportunity to grow in a new marketing team where you can make the difference and work together with our international colleagues all over Europe. This is a hybrid role, based out of Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. To ensure close collaboration, you are invited to work on-site in Apeldoorn 1-2 days per week (good2know: we also have a hub in Amsterdam). We support your home office set-up, travel costs, and provide flexibility regarding hybrid work.

About the team

You'll be an integral member of the Commercial team, reporting to the Group Marketing Excellence Manager at BDR Thermea Group’s head office. This is a new team of multinational senior professionals. In addition to your direct team, you will also work together with the marketing professionals in the UK, Benelux, France, Spain, Germany, Italy and Turkey. The team is set up to drive global marketing but also considers local deviations, in which you help to create the best of both worlds.

What you’ll do

  • Own content creation: Develop, write and edit compelling content for websites, brochures, social media, blogs, videos, pictures, articles, and more.
  • Determine content collection: Decide which content is relevant to communicate to internal and external target groups, making sure the content is relevant and meaningful.
  • Strategize per customer segment: Create tailored content strategies per audience and coordinate with country teams for localized impact.
  • Lead content production: Manage the production pipeline across digital and print formats.
  • Maintain a content calendar: Coordinate planning and publishing schedules with international stakeholders.
  • Optimize for SEO: Ensure all content is search-engine friendly and aligned with digital best practices.
  • Track and improve performance: Use analytics to measure content effectiveness and continuously improve reach and impact.
  • Safeguard brand consistency: Align all content with our brand voice and style in cooperation with local marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders: Work closely together with portfolio management, local marketing & sales teams, digital e-business team and external agencies and freelancers.

What you bring

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience creating B2B content for technical or industrial markets – HVAC knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent writing skills in English (native-level or equivalent): clear, accurate, and engaging
  • Naturally curious – you enjoy diving into technical topics and turning them into relevant, accessible stories in words and visuals
  • A strong connector: you collaborate easily with local marketing teams across multiple countries
  • You balance structure with flexibility – aligning global messaging with local market needs
