Your job

As a junior Regulatory Reporting Operations Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that we comply with our obligation to report on time, complete and accurate reporting by monitoring report submissions, ensuring timely responses from trade repositories and resolving any issues that arise. You will act as a key point of contact between internal teams and trade repositories, gaining valuable hands-on experience with SQL querying, Tableau and internal systems. This role is ideal for someone eager to develop technical and analytical skills in a dynamic financial operations environment.

• Monitor regulatory reporting batches to ensure we comply with our obligation to report in an accurate and timely manner as stipulated by the regulator.
• Ensure all reports are sent and all responses are received from the trade repository.
• Track and investigate any reporting discrepancies and follow up on missing or delayed responses
• Perform initial investigation into potential issues and working together with the development team to find the root cause.
• Communicate with internal teams and external entities regarding reporting-related issues
• Learn and utilize SQL queries, Tableau dashboards and internal systems to support monitoring and analysis
• Assist in documentation and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
• Assisting in handling questions from external parties such as Counterparties, CCPs or Clients.
• Participating in alignment sessions with the development team with the goal to improve the product.

We maintain data in Clearing’s core systems, enabling our clients to have accurate and timely data. We also reconcile all of our clients’ accounts. We have a very diverse team, with many different nationalities and a range of experience. The team consists of over 25 people and has a very inclusive environment.

Your profile

• Proficient in English both written and spoken
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and affinity with IT
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external counterparties
• Eagerness to learn new tools and regulatory requirements
• Basic knowledge of financial markets and SQL is a plus but not required
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift
