Imagine working in a dynamic and international environment with focus on international trade? TBML team within TCF Trade Finance Support Group (TFSG) is a new team focusing on prevention of Trade Based Money Laundering. The team will work closely with Business, Back Offices, Compliance and Sanction Desk on daily basis. As an Analyst within the Trade Finance Support Group (TFSG), you can make a difference by playing a key role to control the risk of Trade Based Money Laundering (TBML) and protect Rabobank’s reputation.

You and your job

As an analyst you will perform TBML checks by evaluating the information within the trade transaction, i.e. export letters of credits & bank guarantees, vetting of suspicious trade transactions and irregular customer behaviours prior to the trade process and escalate where necessary. You will contribute to the development of work instructions, procedures and processes for the team and aid with the development of a system to automate these checks in the future. You will collaborate closely with TFSG and TCF Trade Finance (TF) colleagues to identify and analyse potential risks.

TFSG is an integral part of TF within TCF Lending Products EAA. TF acts as product specialist in client service teams in all time zones and as client owner of our bank network. TFSG manages the day to day client transactions as well as the internal country and bank limits allocated to TCF globally and reporting.

A keen eye for detail and analytical thinking, networking and monitoring skills are clearly essential for the role of TBML Analyst within TFSG. In addition, it's important that you recognise everything in the checklist below:

• Experience with Trade Products such as Letter of Credit, Documentary Collections and Bank Guarantees is an advantage.
• Professional or bachelor degree
• Excellent PC skills especially Microsoft Office Excel.
• At least 1-2 years of experience preferably within banking in the field of customer integrity, or demonstrable experience within another financial institution in the field of customer integrity.
• Good command of English language in word and writing.
• Flexibility and adaptability, as the team is still under construction and work instructions are regularly updated.
• Awareness of the impact of your work: your contribution helps to fight financial crime and prevent money laundering in the Netherlands.
• True team player with a ‘getting things done’ attitude, strong communication skills and quality oriented.
