Your Role in Our Story:

As a functional Business Analyst, you will be responsible for further strengthening the solid foundation that has already been laid, enhancing existing systems, and driving innovation to design and implement new solutions on a global scale. A key part of this role will be ensuring the successful integration and continuous improvement of our Trading and Risk Management System (CTRM), aligning it with business processes and maximizing its effectiveness. In essence, your role involves:

  • Enhancing and streamlining business processes and workflows within CTRM while collaborating with CTRM team to improve system usability and user experience
  • Actively contributing to the Core CTRM team while balancing broader Business Analyst responsibilities
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on CTRM and its integrations while maintaining broad knowledge of the company’s core systems and their functionalities
  • Gathering requirements and translating business needs into IT solutions
  • Communicating with stakeholders at all levels within the organization, both internally and externally
  • Identify, manage, and resolve dependencies
  • Working closely with the Product Owners to manage and prioritize the backlogs
  • Supporting the development teams at each stage of the SDLC ensuring requirements are understood, functionally tested, and delivered as expected
  • Working with Project Managers to define and manage scope, and ensure projects are delivered within the agreed timeline
  • Using data to make informed decisions
  • Designing and presenting of solutions

Your Expertise:

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst (or similar role e.g. systems analyst, process improvement specialist, etc.) in financial services is essential. Experience from trading industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field, along with Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification or an equivalent IIBA certification (CCBA, ECBA) demonstrating proficiency in business analysis principles as outlined in the BABOK Guide.
  • Experience working with Agile development teams on high values projects.
  • Experience with system integrations across multiple platform.
  • Strong analytical, structured and problem solving mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Experience with user-facing custom software solutions, streamlining user experience, and working with commodities trading and risk management software and BI tools.
  • Ability to query and analyse data is a plus.
