We are looking for a proactive and strategic Marketing operations specialist who will act as the functional owner of our CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics).

What you will do as Functional Owner CRM (Microsoft Dynamics)

As our Functional Owner CRM, you will play a crucial role in the success of our marketing and sales initiatives. You will work closely with our CRM support colleagues, the Head of Marketing Operations and the Manager Sales Enablement. You report to the Manager Marketing Enablement. This role requires a combination of project management and strategic thinking, as well as hands-on involvement, ensuring that our CRM system supports our marketing and sales goals effectively.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as the application expert for the marketing and sales elements of our CRM.
  • Setting up, optimising, and maintaining guidelines, processes, ways of working, and training materials, together with stakeholders from various departments.
  • Manage issues within the CRM platform, troubleshoot and assist stakeholders with questions about CRM.
  • Align with Business Line stakeholders and key users, our Sales Enablement Manager and our internal IT department on the roadmap and backlog for development.
  • Liaise with our external CRM Partners about new releases and functional improvements.

The main focus for this role is CRM. But (in the long term) will also include different topics in the broader Marketing Operations, such as:

  • Maintaining and improving our Digital Marketing Infrastructure
  • Acting as a sparring partner for your fellow specialists, engaging in decision making discussions with experts in data analytics, customer journey, SEO and Web on optimisation strategies and subsequently taking an active role in their implementation alongside the team
  • Mentoring junior colleagues, working students and interns

As our new Marketing Operations specialist, you will become part of the Marketing enablement team in the Netherlands (acting globally). We are a divers team of 13 people, existing of permanent staff, working students and interns. This team works on Internal and external marketing communications channels, tools, and infrastructure.

What you bring

  • You have a minimum of 4 years of work experience.
  • You are proactive and a strategic thinker.
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills and can hold your own in a complex, international organisation.
  • You have extensive experience in Microsoft Dynamics.
  • You have a good command of the English language (the working language in our international team is English).
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to create and optimise processes and workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills for creating performance dashboards.
  • Ability to manage crises and troubleshoot issues effectively.
