Lay-out Engineer

You are playing a key role in bringing complex, large-scale industrial projects to life for leading customers across Europe. But you are doing more than just designing layouts, you are designing the flow of the entire production lines, seamlessly integrating machines like bagging systems, conveyors, and palletizers into one cohesive operation.

As a Lay-out Engineer, you are part of an experienced and collaborative team, translating technical requirements into smart, efficient layouts that work on the customer’s site. You bring structure and creativity together, ensuring every solution is tailored to the customers’ specific needs. You think ahead, adapt fast and always keep the big picture in mind.

Your role

As a Lay-out Engineer, you play a key role in translating project requirements into practical, workable designs. Additionally, your responsibilities include:

• Develop 2D layouts and occasionally 3D animated layouts based on the customer requirements
• Provide technical advice to team members and customers on layout solutions
• Support project and sales teams with visual materials like simulations and animations
• Optimize layouts with a focus on performance, cost-efficiency and reliability
• Contribute to improving and developing both new and existing equipment designs

What you bring

• A degree in engineering (or similar)
• Strong skills in 2D CAD systems (AutoCAD) and good knowledge of 3D tools (SolidEdge)
• Relevant working experience in a similar technical/engineering role
• Excellent communication skills in English
• A flexible and hands-on mentality
