Your responsibilities

  • Lead and set the strategic direction and development of the domain to ensure alignment with business strategy both in the short- and long-term, being accountable for the success of the overall domain portfolio of digital products.
  • Translate product strategy into a product roadmap for the domain, identifying and generating new ideas that grow market share and drive commercial and business value to improve customer experience, working with your leaders to deliver outcomes that meet objectives and customer needs by proactively monitoring progress and proactively resolving issues.
  • Cultivate a culture of deep understanding of customer needs in order to ensure all teams across a portfolio of products are driving towards meeting them, building upon a culture of analytics, data and insights to deliver successful outcomes for customers.
  • Drive and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams and a large number of key stakeholders, ensuring different perspectives are heard, cultivating a culture of collaboration and togetherness, and being a strong partner to key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Lead, coach and develop team members to create sustainable, high-performing teams with diversity of thought and a culture of shared learning and sharing best practices across the product management discipline and improving visibility of IKEA’s digital product development activities.

About this work area

At Group Digital, we set the digital agenda to keep IKEA leading in an uncertain and fast-moving environment. We ensure the development, provision and operation of our digital products and services through the use of new and existing technology and agile delivery methods to deliver at pace. At the same time, we provide a home for digital skills to both develop and extend the technical, people and business skills needed to ensure continuous development and growth of our digital capability.

In Omnichannel Meeting Points Area, we have the assignment to create and improve how customers seamlessly meet, connect and interact with IKEA, within and across all channels including our stores and other physical meeting points, app, web.

At IKEA, our Physical Customer Meeting Points (PCMP) team lead the design and development of digital experiences that enhance our global network of stores, plan-and-order points, restaurants, and food markets. From coworker tools and customer-facing “phygital” solutions to platforms, we integrate digital innovation into the heart of physical retail.

This is a global assignment with a bold purpose: to help shape the IKEA store of the future. We’re a professional, impact-driven team focused on operational excellence, modern digital practices, and close collaboration with countries and stores around the world.
