PHP Developer Opportunity at Eco-Movement

Working on a greener world together with Google, Waze, Apple, and Tesla and working on various backend projects written in PHP, Go, and Python. Your challenge

We are looking for a software engineer to join our team and take ownership of building and maintaining critical systems. You’ll work on our internal tool that supports the maintenance of charging prices data, as well as our client-facing applications, like our reporting tool, partner portal, and CPO Hub. Your role will span both backend infrastructure and user-facing features and applications.

The main language of experience that we are looking for is PHP.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines, services, and database structures.
• Develop new features and expand existing solutions for our client-facing application.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security across both internal and client systems.
• Take full ownership of the software lifecycle, from development to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate on the roadmap and proactively suggest improvements to architecture and systems.

Note: We will not consider relocation and/or remote applications. If you don’t live in the Netherlands currently, we can’t proceed.

Job requirements

Skills

• You have 5+ years of professional experience with PHP development;
• Experience with conducting (unit) tests;
• Experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Google Cloud Platform would be a plus;
• Experience working in Agile environments, including sprint planning and team collaboration.
