Boomi Developer Opportunity at Tony's Chocolonely

Why we are here

Tony’s Chocolonely is committed to ending exploitation in cocoa. We are an impact company that makes chocolate, not a chocolate company that makes impact. With incredibly tasty chocolate, we lead by example, demonstrating that ethical practices and success can go hand in hand. Through Tony's Open Chain (TOC), mission allies like Albert Heijn, Ben & Jerry's, Jokolade, and Aldi have embraced a fairer, more transparent supply chain for their chocolate too.

What you will do

We are looking for a new Boomi Developer to join our IT team in Amsterdam. In this role, you get a chance to develop complex Boomi integrations and provide continuous support on our Boomi environment(s). You are responsible for understanding Tony’s technical landscape, to build, maintain, improve and support various integrations. By implementing Boomi integrations and standardizing those integrations across the organization and systems, you ensure Tony’s smooth daily business and enable further business and impact growth. As Tony’s is growing, you will work closely with international 3rd party logistics providers to ensure smooth integrations with as well as contribute to the successful expansion of our chocolate factory in Belgium.

This is a crucial role in supporting Tony’s growth as the number and complexity of the technical integrations continue to grow, together with the company’s international expansion. You play a key role in ensuring a smooth data flow across systems. This is an individual contributor role reporting to our Integration Specialist and working closely with other Boomi developer(s) from our external vendor. You will also collaborate with the broader Tony’s IT team, especially our IT Business Partners who support their respective business areas in technological topics. We are looking for someone to be based in our Homebase office in Amsterdam.

All wrapped up, you are responsible for:

  • Boomi integration process development - Develop Tony’s integration processes according to the Boomi best practices.

  • 2nd line technical Boomi support – Work closely with our Integration Specialist and resolve tickets within the SLA.

  • Integration process improvement – Proactively develop and continuously improve the existing and new integration processes.

  • Collaborating with the business and wider IT team – Contribute to successful completion of integration development plans, projects and deadlines and partner with our internal and external stakeholders.

Job requirements

  • We are all about being more in person than apart; this means we offer flexibility but see each other in the Amsterdam office on average 3 days a week. More is fine too!

  • You believe wholeheartedly in Tony’s purpose.

  • Experience in designing and implementing EDI solutions, including knowledge of EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12) and EDI brokers is seen as a big plus

We also offer a wide range of additional benefits, including a luxurious vega-lunch at the office, a company bonus, minimum of 28 holidays, inspirational team updates, unforgettable events and unlimited chocolate. But we also know chocolate won’t cover the bills, so we’ve made sure your salary is just as rewarding, for this role that means a salary between 53k – 65k on a yearly basis, including holiday pay.

Sounds like you?

Are you passionate about making a difference in the world? Look no further! If you're ready to take the chocolate industry to new heights with us, we'd love to hear from you! Please send your direct application, no agencies. We can't wait to hear from you!

At Tony's we are convinced that diversity of thought, background and perspectives will make us stronger (...just like the different flavors of our chocolate assortment). Our mission is founded on principles of equity and justice, and we are actively seeking candidates who bring new perspectives and life experiences, especially from underrepresented groups. We look forward to your application!

Tony’s Chocolonely wants to make all chocolate 100% slave free. Not just our chocolate, but all chocolate worldwide. Not exactly the average company, right? Instead a chocolate company whose primary goal is to resolve a social issue in the world.
