Software Engineering Internship: Redesign Dashboard Application

Introduction

Within ASML, the sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the specification, design and engineering of the ASML products. We have an internal portal for our entire cluster comprising of various components. One component in particular, Program Trust, is responsible for defining the statuses of our business lines, programs, and products. This allows managers to gain a powerful overview of all ongoing endeavors within the D&E and take action where needed. This software is however quite out of date and unstable and was more an initial prototype rather than intended as a final product. As an intern, you will get the chance to apply software engineering techniques to support the ASML software organization for further decision making and upstreaming the technical solutions. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Your Assignment

You will focus on the following key responsibilities:

  • Building a version two of the Program Trust component from the ground up;
  • Interpret and translate complex requirements into user stories;
  • Create a plan for effective data structures that can scale well for handling the vast amount of data and usage.

This is a bachelor apprentice/graduation internship for at least 6 months for minimum 4 days a week (2 days onsite). The start date of this internship is as soon as possible.
