Working on the frontier of the international market

Belsimpel is the fastest-growing online telecom provider in the Netherlands. Under our international brand Gomibo, we're expanding across Europe — with a special focus on the German market. To truly connect with our customers abroad, our websites and all communication need to be optimized for their native language and culture. And that’s where you come in.

At Gomibo, we believe every interaction matters — whether it's the first time someone hears about us or the moment they receive their new phone, tablet or accessory. That's why we have two teams dedicated to improving the entire Customer Journey: Team Commercial Journey and Team Service Journey.

What will you do as a Customer Journey Specialist at Gomibo?

In both teams, you’ll play a key role in shaping and improving how customers across Europe experience Gomibo — from start to finish. Your mission? To create a seamless, engaging, and informative journey that turns curious visitors into happy, loyal customers.

  • As the domain owner for Germany, you’ll be the go-to person for customer communication in German.
  • You’ll write in our tone of voice, with clarity and empathy at the core, while using HTML and over coding languages to visualize your written word.
  • This is not all: you'll also analyse customer flows, benchmark competitors, conduct A/B tests and pitch improvements that make the journey smoother, faster, and more enjoyable.
  • You’ll own your content domain — and help optimise the entire customer journey for all German-speaking customers.

Commercial Journey

You’ll focus on the commercial stages of the customer journey — from raising awareness to driving conversion during the retention phase. That includes writing promotional content that resonates with our audience, conducting analyses to identify new content opportunities, and working closely with other teams to strengthen our brand. Your goal? Help customers find us, see what makes us stand out, and choose Gomibo with confidence.

Service Journey

You’ll focus on the after-sales experience — making sure customers feel informed, reassured, and supported after placing an order. You'll write clear and friendly content for service emails, blog articles, FAQs, and web pages. Whether you're explaining how number transfer works or what to expect during delivery, you’ll ensure no question goes unanswered — helping us build trust and long-term customer satisfaction.

Who are we looking for?

  • You have a university degree (or equivalent degree), preferably in business, marketing, communication or information science.
  • You enjoy working with others and always take ownership and initiative in everything you do.
  • With strong writing skills, you know how to communicate clearly and effectively across different channels and different audiences.
  • You are creative and analytical — quick to spot problems and eager to solve them with clear, customer-focused and engaging content.
  • You are accurate and care about getting things right, continuously raising the bar in terms of quality to create a seamless experience for every user.
  • You are fluent in German and speak English or Dutch on a professional level.
