About The Role:

An exciting opportunity has become available for an International Tax Manager as we are expanding the Nutreco Group Tax team at our Corporate Head Office in Amersfoort. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for a broad range of direct tax matters across Nutreco’s international operations. You will work closely with various departments (e.g. finance, legal, M&A, treasury, operations) to support strategic tax planning, manage tax risks and ensure compliance. You will also provide support on transfer pricing, corporate tax matters, tax audits across multiple jurisdictions, and the tax control framework.

Success in this position requires your ability to build strong relationships and bridge the gap between tax laws and business objectives. You will be recognized as an advisor who provides insights, identifies opportunities and supports the business with practical solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide tax technical support to business units and operating companies to manage tax risks, implement transfer pricing policies and ensure compliance;
  • Support with acquisitions; tax due diligence, SPA reviews, acquisition financing and tax structuring, post-acquisition integration, with support from external advisors;
  • Develop and maintain transfer pricing policies. Ensure compliance with these policies and transfer pricing regulations;
  • Provide tax technical support to the tax compliance and accounting manager on Dutch tax positions in the corporate income tax return and financial reporting;
  • Support operating companies with local tax audits and tax litigation;
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the tax control framework;
  • Monitor international tax developments that affect the business and raise awareness.

You build strong relationships with stakeholders, and your proactive nature drives you to identify optimization opportunities that align tax strategies with business objectives. You effectively bridge compliance requirements and business operations. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills, technical expertise, attention to detail, collaboration and communication skills are key success factors.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in tax law or fiscal economics;
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in an international tax environment;
  • A strong understanding of Dutch corporate income tax law and international tax laws and regulations;
  • Experience with transfer pricing is a plus;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English;
  • Some travel will be part of the position.
