As Senior Technical Project Manager, you will manage the entire project development project from initial concept to successful introduction into production at our contract manufacturers. Your responsibilities will include maintaining strategic relationships with (external) partners and various stakeholder groups, leading the multidisciplinary project team, establishing work schedules, monitoring quality, and overseeing the final delivery of projects. Alongside the technical lead, you will manage complex product and technology development projects within the Direct Air Capture space.

Project Planning: Developing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Resource Management: Identifying the necessary resources (personnel, equipment, budget, and materials) and collaborating with relevant departments to ensure their availability throughout the project.
Budget Management: Preparing project budgets and tracking project expenses, ensuring your projects are executed within the allocated budget and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Risk Assessment: Identifying potential risks and challenges that may impact project success, developing risk mitigation plans, and monitoring their implementation.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly tracking and reporting on project progress, providing updates to stakeholders and management, promptly addressing any deviations from the plan, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Communication: Facilitating effective communication within the project team, across departments, to senior management and with contracted parties, ensuring all participants are well-informed about project goals, tasks, and timelines.
Documentation: Ensuring the accuracy of project documentation, encompassing project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other pertinent records.
Stakeholder Management: Cultivating positive relationships with project stakeholders by addressing their concerns and keeping them updated on project progress.
Continuous Improvement: Continually assessing and enhancing project methodologies, workflows, and strategies to optimize efficiency, quality, and outcomes.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering, or related discipline) and a Project Management certification (PMP, IPMA, or other);
8+ years proven experience in Project Management, with a focus on rapid hardware development;
Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
Ability to manage complex situations in a multi-disciplinary environment;
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, able to work collaboratively with diverse teams and to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization;
You have a proven track record of effectively managing and engaging with stakeholders from operational to C-level;
Experience in product development projects involving custom-made electronics and design for quality are an advantage;
Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required;
You live in the Netherlands, within commuting distance from Amsterdam;
You are willing to travel up to 25% of your time domestic and international where needed;
You are in possession of a valid driver's license.

Skytree is a spin-off from the European Space Agency (ESA) and has developed a unique CO2 capture technology which can be applied in a variety of industries. Our technology DDAC (Decentralized Direct Air Capture) provides an independent, reliable and on-site supply of highly concentrated CO2, which is extracted from the ambient air thus closing the carbon loop.
