Senior Corporate Communications Writer Opportunity at Adyen

This is Adyen

Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition. For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.

Role

Adyen’s Communications team sets and executes Adyen’s global communications strategy – encompassing our global positioning and reputation and stakeholder management. Our team consists of talented and driven storytellers, and together we shape how our company is perceived by a broad range of stakeholders. Spanning Adyen’s corporate communications function and global press office, we craft messaging on a daily basis for a wide-ranging audience including investors, analysts, regulators, and reporters.

We are currently seeking a talented Senior Corporate Communications Writer with a strong background in writing and executive stakeholder management to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high profile financial corporate content, including our Shareholder Letter twice a year — key projects that directly shape how Adyen’s performance and strategy are communicated to investors and the broader market. This is an exciting opportunity for a native English speaker with exceptional writing skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.

What you’ll do

  • Take ownership of key financial communication projects, including the project management of our earnings updates, the drafting of our Shareholder Letter twice a year, and supporting the production of Adyen’s Annual Report.
  • Write and edit materials that are central to Adyen’s financial communications strategy, including content related to Adyen’s Investor day and the Investor blog.
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team, Investor Relations, Financial Reporting, and PR & Marketing teams to align messaging and maintain consistency across all communications.
  • Produce high-quality materials including FAQ documents, press briefings, and presentation decks to support external stakeholder engagement.

Who you are

  • You have native-level written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to create high-quality, clear, and engaging content.
  • You can distill complex financial data and strategic insights into simple, engaging, and easy-to-understand language.
  • You are highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple deadlines and complex projects.
  • You’re comfortable working with executive leadership and stakeholders at all levels to gather insights and shape messaging.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and know how to adjust priorities quickly as needed.
  • You have experience in financial communications, journalism, or copywriting, preferably in a corporate or financial setting.

Our business and technical challenges are unique, and we need as many different voices as possible to join us in solving them - voices like yours.
