Senior Customer Marketeer – Central & Eastern Europe & CIS Markets

Team Context:

Heineken EMEA Export & GDF is responsible for all 3rd party Export & License business in Europe, Middle East and Africa and for the Duty Free markets globally. The EMEA & GDF Operating Company (OpCo) manages independently a large portfolio of brands led by Heineken® and has a strategic role for the development of brands across multiple markets. Your partners are both distributors as well as local brewers. Playing in all 3 channels; on trade, off trade and online. Therefore, your agility and creativity in mixing market insights and tools, and applying them in the most efficient way, is crucial.

What you’ll do:

As your core responsibilities, you will focus on the continuous improvement of the Channel Strategy, Category Leadership and its execution, translating it into annual customer activation plans in line with the commercial strategy of the OpCo. On top, you will oversee the brand activations within the prioritized channels while maximizing commercial spend productivity and ROI. You will also craft and execute the innovation agenda, as well as drive the commercial capabilities and digital transformation of the route to consumer.

  • Insight on Shopper (off-trade, e-commerce) and on-trade consumer: recognize key consumer/shopper information (research and field observation) and participates in creating shopper/on-trade Consumer Profiles to deliver relevant insight
  • Route to market and customer understanding: Effectively cooperating with Sales and Consumer Marketing to deliver one (consumer, shopper and customer) commercial proposition.
  • Channel Segmentation & Category Strategy: Understands any existing channel segmentation and can properly identify different types of outlet by the existing channel definitions and creating and maintaining an outlet/customer database with the relevant outlet identifiers
  • Annual Planning: Understands the process of channel activity development and its contribution to the yearly channel objectives. Effectively contributes to developing the annual operational plan
  • Drives the execution Excellence: of the yearly channel operation plan incorporating RTM and sales operation realities in the execution of the activities. Ensures cross-functional alignment and commitment to execute key activities.

Who you are:

We are looking for a strong team player able to develop and drive the customer marketing agenda across key customers in the Central- & Eastern Europe- & CIS Markets Export & License business.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of trade marketing and/or commercial experience required in a similar role and/or an international environment and/or FMCG industry

Experience with:

  • Insight on Shopper (off-trade, E-commerce) and on-trade consumer
  • Route to market & Customer understanding
  • Channel Segmentation & Strategy
  • Channel Activation Planning
  • Excellence in Execution

Other:

  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
