Area Export Manager - Western Europe & Opco Markets
Team context:
Heineken EMEA Export & GDF is responsible for all 3rd party Export & License business in Europe, Middle East and Africa and for the Duty Free markets globally. The EMEA & GDF OpCo manages independently a large portfolio of brands led by Heineken® and has a strategic role for the development of brands across multiple markets. Your partners are both distributors as well as local brewers, playing in all 3 channels; on trade, off trade and online. Local HNV Opco’s where we operate are important stakeholders. Therefore, your agility and creativity in mixing market insights and tools, and applying them in the most efficient way, is crucial.
What you’ll do:
- Responsible for all operations in Western Europe Export in order to further deliver sustainable volume, revenue and profit growth in the relevant strategic markets.
- You are responsible for development of annual and longer-term business- & portfolio strategies in cross functional alignment, including digital- and traditional channel strategies and execution plan for the HEINEKEN business in the respective countries.
- You are managing our Route to Consumer in the respective countries.
- The purpose of the role is to develop, plan and execute commercial strategies and programs –in close collaboration with cross functional teams- to deliver sustainable volume, revenue and profit growth.
- Ensuring superior existing/new customer relationships and customer/consumer focus and understanding.
- Managing and leading the commercial agenda for distributors in close cooperation with the cross functional team of Customer Marketing, Brand Marketing, Finance, Customer Success Team and Legal
- The day-to-day management of that customer base.
- Key negotiations for retention and development of business including addressing the optimal Route to Consumer set-up.
- Manage all supply matters between our customers and the EE&GDF focal points with the wider HNV supply organization. (Legislation changes impacting labels, forecasting, introduction of new products, phasing, delisting etc.)
- Design, implement and manage Partner Commercial plans (pricing, operational conditions, distribution agreement, yearly account plans).

We are looking for a strong team player able to develop and drive the Business across key customers in the Western European area and to HNV Opco Markets that we service with relevant brands.
Qualifications:
- Master degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 6-8 years’ experience required in commercial role dealing with key accounts preferably in an international and complex environment
- Understanding of retail, on trade and wholesale channels ideal as well as some trade marketing experience.
- Strong interpersonal, intercultural and team skills, ability to influence without authority.
- Understanding of Retail, On trade and Wholesale environment
- Medium analytical skills
- An entrepreneurial mindset, a strong drive to develop the business in the respective markets
