We have our office in Rotterdam and we’re a trusted partner of many large organizations across Europe. You will be working in a team of 5-10, fanatic on making things work. Your challenge

Collectmaxx is on a journey to scale up. In the last years, we have mostly been focusing on account management and upgrading our tech stack. We have shown we can land big customers in the Benelux and Dach areas, but it is time to go next level. As a Business Development Manager, you play an important role in the execution of our growth strategy. You are responsible for establishing new business relationships with organizations across Europe. Typical customers are companies that sell to consumers. The number of invoices per year for a core client would be 500,000 per year, so we are not focused on SME, but on the bigger corporates. We are looking for someone who feels comfortable going out to build business from scratch, so a proper hunter. This role provides the unique opportunity to play a key role in the growth of Collectmaxx as a Fintech scale-up.

You will be doing

  • Establishing new business with European B2C organizations in various industries such as Energy, Telecom, Banks, Insurance, and Debt collection or Incasso.
  • Sell in a consultative way, win customer’s trust and convince them to use our solutions.
  • Build long-term relationships and make sure you know the desires and challenges of customers and prospects.
  • Work closely with our marketing team and, for example, a Lead Gen partner to get in contact with the selected leads.
  • Analyze trends and developments in the market.
  • Translate insights to action, resulting in landing new customers and revenue.

Job requirements

What you should bring to the table

  • At least 5 years of experience in international business development
  • You are a sales champion, always on the lookout for opportunities!
  • A bachelor or master degree in business or related field
  • Experience in selling to B2C industries such as Energy, Telecom, Banks, Insurance, and Debt collection or Incasso
  • Interest or experience in fintech is a plus.
  • You understand that sales cycles can take long, and you are capable of moving things forward.
  • Fluency in English and speaking Dutch is a pro. Any other language (i.e. German, French, Spanish) would be of great help.
  • You thrive in a fast-moving, ambitious environment.
  • You are result-driven, independent, and not afraid to take ownership of your business.
  • Customers describe you as a trusted advisor who knows what he/she is talking about.
