Transportation Analyst Intern

The transportation analysis & optimization team serves the EMEA and International transportation and service expansion teams by providing insights for making better decisions to help achieve increased customer satisfaction, meet financial targets and pursue new expansion opportunities. By doing this, we help IDEXX achieve exceeding the expectations for our customers as well as sustaining market leadership.

In this role, you will:

• Prepare and maintain regular transportation reports.
• Collect and reconcile data from various sources.
• Analyze data using Excel to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
• Drive a standardization project by analyzing data, proposing solutions, aligning with stakeholders, and implementing the final solution.
• Support the team by analyzing business problems and suggesting solutions.
• Collaborate with colleagues across different countries.
• Handle ad hoc assignments as needed

What you will need to succeed:

• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn with an affinity for Finance, Transportation, and Logistics.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also collaborating effectively within a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluency in English is required.
• Excellent attention to detail with organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, working with large data sets, performing data analysis, and creating reports.
• You are eager to learn and ready to tackle new challenges.

Some practical aspect:

• Our office is located in Hoofddorp, next to the train station (25 minutes from Amsterdam by train). We are also open to a hybrid format (ie: working each week some days from the office and others remotely from home).
• The internship duration is 5 to 6 months (ideally full-time 40h/week), with a start date in August or September 2025, which is determined by mutual agreement.
• You will receive an allowance of 650 euros per month.
