Your Role in Our Story:

Are you an in-house counsel or are you looking to become an in-house counsel and do you want to be part of the decision making, build a long standing relationship with the business and create tailor-made solutions? Our fast growing international business have created a need for a Legal Counsel to join our Legal department. We are looking for someone who is commercially driven to become a trusted legal adviser close to the business who likes to become a part of decision-making.

You will have the opportunity to be part a dynamic work environment where you can make a direct impact. But it is not all easy, as you need to be a skilled stakeholder manager, able to juggle incoming urgent questions and projects with different priorities at the same time.

Your ultimate goal will be to work on commercial agreements, (structuring) projects together with the Legal Manager and add value to existing activities of the Legal department by providing tailored advice and guidance to all stakeholders including the business.

In summary your tasks will be:

• Providing advice regarding commercial contracts and complex projects working closely with the Senior Legal Counsel and Legal Manager on these topics;
• Being involved in drafting of sale and purchase agreements, service and project agreements and NDA’s;
• Drafting, negotiating, standardizing and optimizing contracts.

Your Expertise:

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:

• 4-6 years of experience in an international law firm or in-house;
• International transaction (M&A, real estate, etc.) or project experience;
• Excellent (commercial) contract drafting skills;
• Excellent knowledge and use of English;
• Self-starter mentality, good at working independently and in a team;
• Entrepreneurial spirit, positive mindset, commercially minded, loves a fast-paced environment;
• High attention to details and ability to act swiftly on the spot.
