The Challenge

We are looking for a Project Manager IS, with a big passion for Project Management and biscuits. We offer you the opportunity to join our team and contribute to our mission to bring ‘Happiness with every bite’.

The position entails

The IS Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within the local EDM IS organisation. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The PM will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Project Planning and Management:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
  • Create necessary documentation according to our governance requirements.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, risks and agreed solutions.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Resource Management:

  • Manage project resources, including team members, budgets, and any third-party contractors or consultants.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management plans.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time in full and within budget.
  • Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain expected standards.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and senior management.

Your main responsibilities

  • Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Develop strategic project plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Communicate with management and stakeholders to provide project updates.
  • Manage high-level risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the IS field.
  • Experience in managing projects in a local IS organization is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
