Senior Solution Architect

About the role:

As a Senior Solution Architect, you will define, implement, and maintain solution architecture with a strong focus on SAP localization, legal/fiscal regulatory compliance, and statutory reporting. You will play a key role in ensuring our SAP solutions meet global legal, fiscal, and e-invoicing requirements, while partnering with SAP and internal stakeholders to align technical roadmaps with business needs.

Your expertise will drive the design of scalable, compliant IT architectures, ensuring the seamless integration of regulatory changes into our systems. Additionally, you will oversee implementation, maintain documentation, and provide technical leadership to ensure alignment across global teams.

The Impact you’ll make:

• Define and maintain solution architecture for SAP localization, e-invoicing, Peppol, and regulatory compliance, translating business and legal requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Lead the implementation of SAP-based compliance solutions (e.g., tax reporting, statutory filings, e-invoicing) across multiple regions, ensuring adherence to local mandates.
• Partner with SAP teams, leveraging your network to influence solution design, resolve issues, and align with SAP best practices.
• Develop and maintain documentation for compliance workflows, ensuring audit-readiness and cross-team alignment.
• Evaluate and optimize existing SAP solutions for cost, performance, and compliance efficiency.
• Stay ahead of regulatory changes (e.g., ViDA, SAF-T, Peppol B2B mandates) and integrate them into the architectural roadmap.
• Provide technical leadership to project teams, ensuring Agile/SAFe methodologies are followed.

The Skills and Knowledge you’ll bring:

Your expertise in SAP solution architecture, localization, and regulatory compliance enables you to design future-proof, legally compliant systems. You have hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, e-invoicing, Peppol, and global statutory reporting, ensuring seamless alignment between business processes and legal requirements.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial engineering (Mechanical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Software) or a related field.
• Minimum HBO (or equivalent) in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Software); Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred.
• Proven experience in SAP solution architecture, with a focus on localization, legal/fiscal compliance, and e-invoicing.
• Strong knowledge of global regulatory mandates (e.g., tax reporting, real-time invoicing, Peppol integrations).
• Ability to collaborate with SAP teams, leveraging industry networks for solution design and issue resolution.
• Experience in Agile/SAFe and MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering).
• Fluent in English (written & spoken); additional languages a plus.
