The job
On a daily basis you'll be working on the complex puzzle of inventory, orders and international transport to our customers. As an Operations and Logistics Officer you will work on, after a good onboarding, logistic matters of Cefetra, from transportation and storage to customer deliveries. Your duties will include checking and managing contracts, stocks and orders, negotiating transport and storage rates, supervising stock entries and invoicing, and handling samples and documentation. In doing so, you will work close together with our direct colleagues from Trade, Tax, Quality, Customs and Controlling. You organize and monitor an efficient planning where proper coordination with carriers, storage locations, customers and suppliers is essential. It is also very important that you can keep your head cool and solve occurring challenges in the best possible way.

Who are you?
Most important is that you can be critical and precise, but also pragmatic when needed. To be successful within Cefetra, it is important to have a ‘self-starter’ mentality, be open minded and curious. In addition, you can identify with the following requirements:

• Your educational background is preferably in Transport, Supply chain, Logistics or Business.

• You are passionate about working in international Logistics Operations and Supply chain.

• You are good at both Dutch and English, both verbal and written. On a daily basis you'll need both languages. Please only apply if your Dutch and English is good enough!
