About the role

The Global Engineering Director will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating engineering projects across our international facilities. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and the ability to manage complex engineering challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead and manage global engineering teams across multiple regions
  • Monitor and improve engineering processes to maintain high operational performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance, to ensure project alignment with company goals
  • Provide technical leadership and support to local engineering teams, facilitating knowledge sharing and best practice implementation across all sites
  • Develop and manage the global engineering budget, resource allocation, and project scheduling
  • Drive innovation in engineering processes and systems to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure engineering activities comply with all relevant regulations, standards, and environmental, health, and safety guidelines
  • Mentor and develop engineering talent within the organization, building a strong pipeline of future leaders
  • Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge and propose strategic investments in new technologies
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management and stakeholders

The experience we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field). A Master's degree or additional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role overseeing global or multi-site engineering projects.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and execution in an international setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of engineers.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Proficiency in engineering software, CAD tools, and project management platforms.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to support project needs and team collaboration.
