What will be your role?

In this role, you'll be at the heart of the action, responsible for deploying new technologies and even developing your own solutions. We don't just work with existing tools; we create them. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to research papers, bringing your academic background into play. But that's just the start. You'll have the freedom to propose your own ideas and, if you excel, take the lead on projects. Think of it as your own sandbox for technological innovation.

A Glimpse into Your Work:

At TNO, we take things out of the computer and into the real world. Expect to work on exciting projects like extracting data from sensors of self-driving cars, greenhouses, or even drone technologies. You'll be part of international consortia, collaborating not only within TNO but also with external companies and partners.

What we expect from you

• Educational Background: We prefer candidates with an academic master's degree, but if you have a bachelor's degree in computer science, informatics, or technical informatics, and a few years of experience, we're open to that too.
• Cloud Skills: You should be well-versed in DevOps and cloud technologies, with experience in Kubernetes, OpenStack, and Linux. These are essential skills for this role.
• Development Enthusiast: Don't shy away from development tasks. We're not just operational; we're creating the software that powers Kubernetes and OpenStack.
• Languages: You'll be coding in Python, C, and Go, depending on the task at hand. Choose the language that suits the job best.

We offer a gross monthly salary between € 3.385,- and € 5.957,- (based on your knowledge and experience), 8% holiday pay, a 13th month bonus of 8.33% and a flex budget (5.58% + € 180).
