Cloud Specialist Opportunity at Vanderlande

Your Role

The ICT Infrastructure and cloud team is part of the ICT Core department that is responsible for managing the core components of our internal ICT which includes various landing zones in Azure, Oracle Cloud and AWS. The ICT Infrastructure and Cloud team is a Dev/Ops product team it acts as knowledge owner and consulting partner for various topics including cloud for the internal organization.

Within this team you will be responsible for development and operations, as well as translating technical and business requirements into solutions with a focus on our Azure landing zone. You will also be the primary point of contact for all Azure related topics concerning the landing zone. You will act in close cooperation with the product owner, scrum master, team members and if needed with business stakeholders to further define and implement the Azure landing zone within our ICT landscape. You will also work closely with other ICT colleagues in and outside the team, among which network specialists, system specialists, data engineers, people outside the ICT department and suppliers.

For this position we’re looking for a highly-motivated, organized, communicative team player.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will, together with the product team, be responsible for the Azure landing zone as specialist.
  • Design, develop and maintain solutions within the Azure landing zone
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities and translate these into solutions
  • Coach and support citizen developers and colleagues within the organization
  • Govern the platform with a CI/CD mindset
  • Communicate periodically about new platform releases, guidelines/practices and success stories
  • Setup and participate within cloud community
  • Collaborate with ICT-architects, ICT-Specialists and provide input for the roadmap and strategy
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert for the Azure landing zone

What Do We Ask From You?

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in IT or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Azure
  • Experience with OCI and AWS is a pre
  • Have the ability to think “outside the box”
  • You have the drive to get things done
  • Being able to work with stakeholders in the business and ICT
  • Team player with strong social skills, but also able to work independent (self-starter)
  • You have affinity with infrastructure as code
  • Communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Experience with Azure in general areas like compute, network, cloud native services, AAD, etc.
  • Experience with Terraform, terragrunt experience is a plus
  • Experience with Atlassian CI/CD tools (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, Bamboo)
  • Certified as Azure Administrator and/or Architect (AZ-100/AZ-300)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online, MS Teams)
