Your role

You will take ownership of the crew planning (up to a few hundred people) for the disciplines assigned to you, across all Allseas vessels.

  • You act as the primary point of contact for the superintendents on the vessels regarding planning matters.
  • Along the way, you build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders: HR, VMT, L&D, and Crew.
  • Also with the Operations Managers, you build a strong partnership to address long-term workforce needs.
  • In close collaboration with the Discipline Managers, you determine resource requirements and make key decisions.
  • You provide the Crew Operations Team with valuable input on planning and special requirements.
  • When you identify structural crew shortages or surpluses, you report them to HR and Operations.
  • For any short-term planning challenges that come up, you make sure to find a proper solution.
  • You stay in close touch with the vessels regarding crew composition and equal distribution of experience.
  • Together with HR, you work on career development and promotions for the crew.

What we expect from you

  • You have some working experience where you could prove your talent and potential when it comes to planning.
  • Even more important: you have the will to deal with complex plannings, changing priorities, and unforeseen circumstances.
  • You are not afraid to ask for help from your team, and your colleagues can count on your help when needed.
  • You are both assertive and diplomatic in your communication and you know how to deal with different stakeholders (crew members, superintendents, captains...).
  • You speak and write fluent English; knowledge of the Dutch language is an asset.
  • You are willing to travel from time to time and maintain visibility across our fleet, this includes visits to vessels and our main office in Delft.

What we offer

  • Allseas is a world-class offshore construction company, developing top-notch technologies and doing things that have never been done before, like: building the world's largest heavy-lifting vessel and performing the heaviest single lift of all times (by far)!
  • In this position, you will be offered a one-year contract with potential for a permanent position, depending on business needs and performance.
  • You can count on a warm, passionate, team-oriented work environment with an informal atmosphere and extremely helpful colleagues.
  • We make sure to offer possibilities for personal and professional growth, including study budgets, trainings, and coaching…
  • With flexible working hours, a competitive salary, collective health insurance, and very interesting pension benefits, we support you in achieving a healthy work-life balance.
  • Allseas has earned the "World-Class Workplace" label, which is based entirely on feedback from our employees.
