At our global headquarters in Delft, a new position will arise for a Group Tax Manager to join our growing tax team. Reporting into the Group Tax Director, you will take ownership of certain tax processes and play a strategic and operational role in managing the company’s global tax framework. Together with our Group Tax Director and the Tax Accounting Lead, you will be responsible for corporate income tax, tax compliance, transfer pricing, VAT matters, and tax risk management.

This = the job you are looking for

This is a role where you will act as a trusted advisor on tax matters, proactively shaping and optimizing tax strategies across a dozen countries, predominantly The Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Given the evolving tax landscape, this role requires a candidate with a strong ability to navigate complexity, engage with senior stakeholders, and ensure compliance while supporting the business in its international growth. More specifically the tasks and responsibilities will or may include:

  • Provide (inter)national tax advice and support on corporate income tax and withholding tax matters and special projects relating to (inter)national taxation;
  • Provide support and actively contribute to M&A projects (due diligence, divestments, finance structuring, and corporate restructurings);
  • Maintaining and improving the TP framework, including policy implementation, intercompany pricing, and compliance with OECD guidelines, such as Master file and Local files;
  • Support in technical VAT advice, from day-to-day questions to project-based initiatives (e.g., e-invoicing);
  • Maintain and strengthen the processes Exact has within the tax function as part of its tax risk management;
  • Manage, follow up and coordinate tax audits and other queries from tax authorities;
  • Maintain and manage relationships with our external advisers and tax authorities;
  • Provide training to colleagues on tax-related topics.

This = what you bring

You have a relevant degree and you have 8-12 years of experience at the corporate tax department of a large advisory firm or multinational environment. Experience with (Dutch) Corporate Income Tax is a must, whereas any prior exposure to Transfer Pricing, VAT, and M&A is considered a big plus, although it can be gained on the job as well. You will need to have a flexible mindset to be able to cope with ever-changing situations, in addition to a hands-on mentality. Furthermore, you have/are:

  • Software-savvy, proficient in Excel and (quickly) grasp ERP systems. You have an interest in front-end reporting tooling, such as Power BI;
  • A solid understanding of business needs and an outcome-focused approach;
  • A team player with excellent communication skills;
  • A continuous improvement attitude and understand the importance of documenting;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (speaking and writing).

This = what you get

At Exact, we value the balance between work and relaxation; this is very important to us. You can work up a sweat in our own gym or take a break at the coffee bar. Empty your head and then tackle your daily tasks with renewed energy. And, of course, that's not all. As a Group Tax Manager, based on 40 hours per week, you can also count on:

  • A competitive base salary and a bonus,
  • A 13th month and of course holiday allowance of 8%;
  • A company car, phone, and laptop;
  • 27 holidays and loyalty days; one for each year in service with a maximum of 5;
  • Modern pension scheme;
  • Team members with strong Tax-background who will help you to excel;
  • Corporate Social Responsibility activities, 3 days per year;
  • Time and guidance, to give your ambition all the room it needs and we offer you the opportunity to excel at your profession;
