Designer Opportunity at Nedap

What are you going to do?

As a Designer at Nedap, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring a strong and consistent brand experience for Nedap Ons across all our digital products and communications. Whether it's UI design, branding, or visual storytelling, you know how to combine aesthetics and functionality to create the right look and feel.

Working closely with a creative team of designers and UX professionals, you will contribute to a variety of projects, developing concepts, iterating on designs, and making well-founded design choices. At the same time, you can work independently on individual assignments and take responsibility within your projects. You understand what works visually and what doesn’t, have an eye for detail, and a passion for graphic design, illustration, and branding. You think critically about design solutions and proactively seek new opportunities.

Your responsibilities

• Brand Experience: Ensure a consistent brand experience across digital products and communications through UI design and branding;

• Optimal User Experience: Design and enhance visual concepts that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional, with a strong focus on user experience;

• Collaboration: Work closely with designers and UX professionals to maintain our cultural edge and align visual designs with product vision and user needs;

• Proactiveness: Take initiative in design projects, work independently on assignments, and contribute to the continuous development of visual strategies.

Your team

As a Designer, you will be part of the design team within Nedap, collaborating with other designers and UX professionals to continuously improve our products and brand experience. Additionally, you will work closely with different tribes and teams within the organization to ensure that our visual communication and product experience align with our users' needs.

You and your colleagues share the responsibility of visualizing the Nedap brand, meaning various (product) teams come to us for visual support. Together, we determine which projects to work on and proactively initiate and develop our own design projects.

Required experience and skills

As a Designer, you have a strong sense of design, aesthetics, and brand identity. It is essential that you can create a consistent brand experience across multiple platforms. Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in designing marketing materials and digital assets;

• Independence: Ability to work independently within projects and take ownership;

• Proactiveness: Takes initiative in improving and innovating designs;

• Flexibility: Able to switch quickly between different projects;

• Collaboration: Works closely with our marketing team to ensure brand consistency;

• Design Tools: Experience with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite;

• Design Systems: Experience with component-based design and design systems is a plus.
