As an SAP SCM consultant, you play a crucial role in the transition to SAP S/4HANA. In this role, you will work together in your Engineering team and other teams to achieve the most optimal logistics processes for Jumbo.

Let’s get to work! This is what you’ll do:

In a complex and 24/7 retail environment you will be the bridge between tech and business professionals. Because of your efforts, our stores, DCs, and e-fulfilment centers always have the right stock for our customers. You are in touch with the business users and are able to translate complex questions and needs from the business into concrete and workable solutions. You contribute to new IT innovations that help Jumbo move forward. We are DevOps engineering teams, so we develop and operate our solutions with the principle: You build it, You Run It and You Own it. Which means you will guide the team to build fit for purpose business solutions, which run in a stable & secure way and do it in the most cost-effective way.

Your workday as a Consultant at Jumbo:

9:30 – 9:30 Stand-up meeting to discuss progress and potential impediments of sprint
10:00 – 11:00 Refinement session with the Product Owner and team members (OPS engineers, Developers and Testers)11:00 – 11:30 Project update meeting12:00 – 13:00 Lunch with team13:00 – 14:00 Catch-up with other Engineering Teams (Finance & Warehouse Management)14:00 – 16:30 Focused time for design & guidance to team

Together we are Jumbo: This is where you’ll work

You will join an SAP SCM DevOps engineering team, where we build logistics processes in SAP and integrate with amongst other systems our Data Platform, Warehouse Management systems and Transport systems. The team consists of testers, consultants, and developers who help uncover requirements and dependencies. Our Product Owner, together with the team, determines what the solutions will look like.

What do you get from us?

• A gross salary between €4200 - €5500 per month (based on 40 hours).
• An annual bonus of max 5% of your annual salary, based on organizational goals.
• 30 days of paid holiday (with the opportunity to buy or sell days of paid holiday) and 8% holiday allowance.
• You build up a pension through participation in the Pension Fund for the Food Industry.
• An allowance for your travel expenses (€ 0.21 cents per kilometer with a maximum of 35 kilometers one way). We like to work together in the office, but you can also work partly from home.
