R&D and Business Development Project Manager

Overview

As a R&D and Business Development Project Manager at DeltaQuad, you will play a crucial role in continuing to mature our innovative company.

Your primary responsibility will be to manage development projects towards successful delivery while working closely with the R&D and Business Development teams and reporting directly to senior management. Your job focuses on keeping track of progress, quality, and costs. You aim to implement and finish new developments successfully. These include integrating newly released sensors, structuring collaboration with (technological) partners or innovating existing components, managing reputational risks, and long-term integration projects.

You support essential decisions by providing input analysis and recommendations while maintaining up-to-date project documentation and status reports. You explain and educate the organization on project thinking and tooling, as well as identify and allocate talents, skills, and tools required for the project.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Define Project Scope: Clearly outline project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
• Set up and support project thinking and working with different approaches like waterfall, agile and combinations.
• Develop Detailed Project Plan: Break down the project into phases, tasks, and milestones. Assign responsibilities, allocate resources and facilitate standups and other ceremonies.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure all stakeholders (R&D & BD) are aligned with the project goals and scope.

Positional and educational requirements

• A degree in a relevant field, such as an MBA or a Master’s in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field, is preferred.
• 5-10+ years of experience managing projects with exposure to Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience working on projects across multiple departments within one organisation.
• Experience working with technical people and be customer-oriented.
