Business Marketing Manager (m/f/d) Ultrasound Europa

In this position, you will have the opportunity to take responsibility for the European Ultrasound business as Business Marketing Manager. We offer you the opportunity to succeed in this senior role in a challenging environment. This role can be performed in Amsterdam or Hamburg.

Your job:

  • Creation of a 2-year marketing plan for healthcare systems: Define the key lines of business (SoB) as part of the 'Where to play' strategy for the GWP category (General Imaging, Women's Healthcare and Point of Care) and per zone. Defining the 'How to win' marketing and sales strategy per SoB and per zone. Drive excellence in execution with the zones to 'Make it happen'.
  • Collaborate with the Ultrasound Zone Leader, Modality Sales Specialist and Downstream Marketeer in the 8 European zones on GWP target market plans and ensure alignment with zone priorities.
  • Responsibility for the commercial strategy of new product innovations, solutions and services or existing portfolio with the Zones, ensuring success through innovative business models, distribution channels and risk sharing partnerships that ensure growth in line with local market needs.
  • Experience in all aspects of marketing, including market insights, value proposition development, claim creation, pricing, customer retention strategy and channel management.
  • Portfolio positioning strategy: understanding the sales cycles along the customer decision journey, evaluating the different sales strategies and understanding how to improve conversion rates by strengthening the positioning of the portfolio.
  • Equipping global business and sales teams with background knowledge, market insights, customer segment behavior patterns, competitive insights, tools and instruments to help them maximize existing and potential business opportunities.
  • Identify and prioritize Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for portfolios, drive KOL engagement (in collaboration with Clinical Scientists and in coordination with Marketing Ops & Planning).
  • Handle complex issues where analysis of situations or data is required.
  • Accountable for achieving relevant metrics for efforts and results and meeting goals and objectives.

You should have the following:

  • Master's degree and more than 8 years of industry experience
  • Strong marketing understanding with knowledge of strategic marketing and marketing analytics (understanding of methods and tools), supported by strong data analysis skills
  • Expert in defining the marketing mix, channel strategies and successful product launches in the MedTech industry
  • Conceptual and strategic thinking from a broad business perspective, considering both strategic and operational aspects
  • Entrepreneurial and commercial thinking
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior management
  • Proven ability to execute transformations
  • Very good command of written and spoken English
