At a glance

As a DevOps Engineer for security testing you are responsible for integrating and maintaining solution that are supporting the security testing activities within ABN AMRO. This role requires a deep understanding of security, DevOps principles and Azure cloud services.

As DevOps Engineer for security testing, you are involved in the Security Assurance – Security testing domain which includes activities like pentesting, red teaming, continuous attacker mode and coordinated vulnerability disclosure and subsequent risk assessments on system assets of ABN AMRO.

Your knowledge and experience will contribute to improving the overall security posture of the bank by helping development teams to bring security by design in their day-to-day work and by ensuring compliance with applicable ABN AMRO policies, procedures, and regulations. Your job

As a DevOps Engineer for security testing you are responsible for integrating solution that are supporting the security testing activities within ABN AMRO. You feel at home in a technical environment. You have shown in the past that you are able to learn quickly and apply the learned skills immediately. You like to work together with other specialists, and you know from experience teamwork sets changes in motion. And that is what you want: getting things done!

Working environment

You will be part of the internal Security Assurance team within the Corporate Information Security Office (CISO) of ABN AMRO in the Netherlands. Inside the team we work together in an informal way and we provide a lot of variety and opportunities to keep developing yourself. ABN AMRO is moving to an agile way of working where speed, productivity, agility and innovative power come first. For you as a Security Expert, this means an interactive and inspiring way of working together across the team and with different departments of the bank.

Your profile

Required skills:

• You have approximately 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience;
• Demonstrable affinity with security aspects / securing IT infrastructure;
• Experience in DevOps environment. Meaning that you can design a solution, Implement it, test it, and keep it operational;
• Proficiency with Azure services (e.g., Azure Kubernetes, Azure Key Vault, Azure Storage, Azure Databases, and azure monitoring);
• Experience with automated deployment tooling like Azure DevOps;
• Recent python and bash skills, mostly focussed on automation / scripting;
• Knowledge and experience on Kubernetes, Helm & Docker;
• Recent experience on Bicep templates for azure Infra creation;
• Experience with Rest API's;
• Experience with troubleshooting;
• Strong understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization;
• You take ownership of your own and team’s delivery and have a proactive attitude;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Effective communication and collaboration skills;
• You have preferably worked in an Agile environment;
• You have a valid EU working permit.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Being certified with either Azure AZ-104 or AZ-204;
• Experience in System Integration Engineering;
• Worked with PowerBI.
