As the KYC Team Lead at bunq, you'll make a difference by improving conversions in the onboarding funnel, maximizing the amount of users we onboard by achieving our 5-minute onboarding for users. You will hold a pivotal role in defining our customer's onboarding journey, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition, while keeping the banking system safe. You have the power to set the tone of the initial interaction and positively impact user experience for Eva. 🚀

Take ownership

As a KYC Team Lead your main ownerships will include:

• Manage and lead a dynamic team of up to 10 KYC professionals.
• Design onboarding flow and implement strategies to improve user experience for Eva.
• Turn data into actionable insights to boost sign-up started to account verification conversion rates.
• Persuade and influence key stakeholders to endorse and implement user-focused & data-driven solutions.
• Continually reduce manual approval waiting time to better our user experience.
• Work diligently to meet the 5-minute promise for user onboarding.
• Constantly enhance strategies that will ultimately increase the verification rate.

• Extensive knowledge of KYC processes and enhanced onboarding experience strategies.
• Seen success in building and leading a team of 10 or more.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, persuade and influence.
• Proven track record of data-driven decision making.
• Strong ability to design and optimize the onboarding process to enhance user experience.
• Excellent communication skills with a knack for fluent and effective conversations.
• Prior experience in enhancing conversions in the onboarding funnel.
• Proven proficiency in reducing manual approval waiting time.
• A strong understanding of, and experience in, improving verification rates.
