Market Intelligence Manager

The Market Intelligence Manager will play a crucial role in providing the leadership team with insights on the livestock business categories and global markets. This role supports the Global Marketing Operations Director by fostering a culture of understanding the competitive landscape and market share and translating market data into actionable strategies. Additionally, would also oversee the governance of Nutreco’s market intelligence system, ensuring accurate data integration and improving the accessibility and utility of reporting dashboards organization-wide.

Job Description:

  • Drive understanding of market sizing, competitive landscape, and market share across the organization.
  • Provide annual in-depth analysis of market and competitive trends, as well as evolutions in market share.
  • Develop and implement a charter for customer segmentation, utilizing market insights to support strategic team efforts in accurately positioning our offerings.
  • Aid Species Leads in developing business cases and market models, leveraging relevant market and competitive insights.
  • Develop and maintain Market & Business Intelligence reports that link global and local market knowledge.
  • Develop a globally aligned and endorsed robust source of truth for market share insights.
  • Continuously improve the Nutreco market intelligence dashboard, enhancing data collection methodologies, validating data with external sources, and ensuring data robustness.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess a university degree in business, IT, marketing research, agricultural disciplines, or a related field with a combination of relevant academic and professional qualifications.
  • Preferably have at least 5 years of experience in business analysis, market research, market intelligence, or customer intelligence, specifically within the animal nutrition or animal pharma industry.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Skilled in database management and proficient in Excel (e.g., pivot tables), as well as data visualization software like Power BI.
  • Experience in the agricultural or animal feed industries is an advantage.
  • Practical experience in program or project management is beneficial.
  • Well-versed in various research methodologies and sources.
  • Must have experience working in a global environment, demonstrating the ability to handle diverse teams and projects effectively.
