Roles and Responsibilities

This full-time role gives you the unique opportunity to launch your career in sales!

AIHR's mission is to prepare HR professionals for the future by offering exceptional online training programs. As a Sales Trainee, you will become an integral part of our sales team, supporting new members in their enrollment process and guiding them in finding the most suitable training solutions for their learning needs. At the same time, you will collaborate closely with department colleagues to identify sales opportunities with corporate clients. Building strong relationships based on a thorough understanding of their goals and our offerings is key to your success and will aid in registering them and their teams on our platform.

Our experienced sales management team will provide ongoing training and coaching to enhance your skills in areas such as consultative sales, active listening, and negotiation tactics. This combination of day-to-day guidance and structured learning will equip you with valuable skills that will benefit you throughout your career.

On a typical day

On a typical Monday morning, you will start the day by planning your week and preparing for your upcoming client calls. Afterward, you grab a cup of coffee and quickly chat with your colleagues about the company Quarterly Wrap-up you all attended last Friday. Back at your desk, you kick off your daily tasks and jump into your inbox to start answering client emails.

Your first call of the day is with an HR Business Partner at an FMCG company in the US. She’s interested in learning more about HR Data Analytics. During your call, you triggered her curiosity about our team enrollment packages! Well done—you’ve just generated a B2B opportunity! You immediately set up a meeting for this potential client and Oisin, AIHRs' Account Executive, to decide on the next steps.

Lunch is prepared by our in-house chef, Rick; after a quick lunch in the office with colleagues, you will work on our website live chat to help potential members looking to register immediately.

Tomorrow you will have training, where you will work to build foundational sales skills. Here, you will role-play, review calls and emails with your Team Lead, Max, and learn how to develop a consultative sales style. You can immediately use these learnings in practice!

We close off a successful week of sales and training with a drink on a Friday evening, where you get to know your colleagues better. Although we all work hard to make the company grow, we like to relax and enjoy our joint success.

Who you are

We’re looking for someone ambitious and eager to grow in sales. Someone with good communication skills (able to write flawless English) and hungry for coaching & feedback. Moreover, you are a good fit if you:

  • Are a recent university graduate with a Bachelor's Degree (0-2 years working experience);
  • Have affinity with sales;
  • Are ambitious and not afraid of failing;
  • Are a life-long learner who welcomes coaching & feedback;
  • Take ownership of your development;
  • Are fluent in English;
  • Are available to start as soon as possible;
