As a senior accounts payable specialist, you are working closely with several Finance departments, Procurement, IT and our Vendor Operations team, ensuring prompt and accurate payment of liabilities to vendors, encouraging positive supplier interactions and assuring paid-on-time invoices. These processes are highly automated. You will be responsible for a wide range of senior activities in the area of accounts payable such as invoice and payment handling, resolving issues, vendor communication, handling customer requests, supporting/leading improvements, month-end-closing activities and projects and analysis on request including necessary (senior) stakeholder management. Moreover, you will act as a functional lead, process expert, spokesman and coach for one of the sub-teams within Vendor Operations.
In this role, you will join our Vendor Operations team, which is part of the ASML Business Services (ABS) organization, a shared services organization offering transactional services for Finance, HR&O, Sourcing & Procurement, IT, CRE, and Sales. ABS is supported by a centralized Capability Center, Master Data and Reporting Operations. Vendor Operations offers wide range of services for the Purchase to Pay processes. The services range from contractor accounts, contract management, purchasing up until accounts payable and providing payments to our suppliers.
Besides acting as a functional lead of one of the sub-teams, you will execute accounts payable activities to a limited extent to keep feeling with operations, including: invoice handling by entering invoices into ERP system, matching to POs and processing for payment; supplier communication such as working with ServiceNow tickets to respond to supplier inquires and requests; contacting suppliers, buyers and employees about questionable items on invoices.
