Your goal

Marktlink Capital is a Private Equity & Venture Capital (PE & VC) Fund Manager based in the Netherlands, with headquarters in CitySide Amsterdam. We offer entrepreneurs and private investors access to the best PE & VC funds. Marktlink Capital currently has a team of over 40 professionals and manages more than EUR 1.9 billion in capital commitments. This capital comes from over 1,500 investors who have collectively invested in over 100 PE & VC funds.

In our expanding organization, we are seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist. This role will provide support to all employees and partners of Marktlink Capital. Do you have the ability to empower both employees and the organization? If so, we're looking for you!

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will report to the Manager Financial Control and take on the following tasks:

• Assisting with the processing of invoices and expense claims as support for the General Ledger Accountant.
• Managing timely and accurate payment processes for employees, vendors, and suppliers.
• Keeping comprehensive and organized records of financial transactions and documents
• Participating in monthly reconciliations of accounts payable and intercompany transactions.
• Resolving payment discrepancies and handling queries from internal teams and external partners.
• Contributing to the enhancement of accounts payable procedures to boost efficiency and adapt to the growing needs of the business.
• Supporting the finance team during audit preparations and in compiling financial reports.
• Ensuring strict compliance with all financial policies and regulatory guidelines.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounts payable or financial administration.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles with experience in using financial software such as Microsoft Office and Exact.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all financial and data entry tasks.
• Fluent in English, and proficiency in Dutch is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively managing relationships at all organizational levels.
