Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic and innovative environment? Prysmian is seeking a Production Engineer to oversee and improve our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong team management skills, have a strong background in engineering, and the ability to streamline production processes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The Production Engineer will report to the production manager and will act as the deputy Production Manager in case of absence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Implement Processes: Develop and implement production processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor Production: Supervise the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
• Troubleshoot Issues: Diagnose problems in the production line and provide recommendations and training.
• Safety Protocols: Establish and enforce safety procedures and protocols to ensure the well-being of workers and compliance with regulations.
• Collaboration: Liaise with shift leaders and departments to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Training: Train and supervise team members in the use of new production processes and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Education: Preferable degree in engineering (Master's degree preferable) or equivalent educational programs.
• Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) in the engineering field, particularly in a production environment.
• Skills: Proficiency in Dutch (at least conversational level) is essential. Proficiency in MS Office, superb analytical and problem-solving skills, strong leadership abilities.
• Attributes: Ability to manage a team, make decisions under pressure, great attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
