Want to make your mark on our time? Come work as a Cloud Engineer (Azure) at TNO in The Hague!
Working as a Cloud Engineer at TNO means contributing to research and innovative applications that matter. From the energy transition and the application of secure AI in healthcare to the future of digital identity and our safety.
TNO has recently started its cloud transformation. As a Cloud Engineer, you play a significant role in this. You will have the opportunity to shape and define this transformation together with your colleagues. This includes developing the Azure Platform, creating standards for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), developing the necessary automation for self-service in the Azure cloud, and supporting the setup of IaC and CI/CD for cloud applications. Since this is relatively new for TNO, you can also play a role in coaching colleagues, both technically and in their way of working.
As a Cloud Engineer at TNO, you will work with a diverse range of internal clients. These can be scientists conducting advanced research on cloud technology or colleagues with no knowledge of cloud technology. The development requests are therefore diverse, making it challenging as it is not a standard package that needs to be developed and managed. So this is a role where you have a lot of space to contribute to the direction and implementation of the cloud transition within a very diverse environment and where you directly contribute to societal importance.
