ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant

Your role:

The Senior Technical consultant has extensive knowledge and experience in designing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow Platform. Technical Consultant Seniors define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications in support of the achievement of the business requirements. The role demands strong analytical skills and high research, design, documentation, and software modification capabilities throughout the production life cycle. Our Senior Technical Consultants are also proactive providing mentoring, support and guidance to the Junior Developers and perform with a high autonomy level. Due to theirs outstanding asset of skill set and high level of decision making, Seniors Developers usually act as a Project Team Leads.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all important project processes such as: platform architecture documentation, integration documentation, work-effort estimation and hands-on advanced development.
  • Attend, participate, and occasionally lead Scrum meetings.
  • Translate requirements/stories and mock-ups into fully functional features by working closely with the implementation project team.
  • Fulfill Project´s technical development and configuration at the highest standard of technical quality contributing with assignments, follow up and guidance to Junior / Mid developers.
  • Fulfill technical design guidance within our projects following ServiceNow best practices.
  • Ensure Project Lead receives timely updates on assigned tasks to facilitate frequent and proactive customer communication.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Delivery Services processes as well as the maturing of the different portfolios, capabilities, expertise, and best practices in consideration of Customer needs and requirements.
  • Fill technical or process roles in our projects, if needed.
  • Lead, educate, mentor and develop resources who are assigned to his/her projects.
  • Assist in the scoping of new opportunities, design tools and techniques to deliver efficiently.
  • Act as the final escalation point for technical decision-making within a project.
  • Partnership with HR to deliver technical interviews and support the recruitment process.

What you will bring to the team:

  • Industry and project experience of 5+ years with ServiceNow
  • ServiceNow certifications: CSA, ITSM, CSM, CAD, SPM, ITBM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, APM etc.
  • Some technical knowledge is highly desirable – programming: Javascript, SQL, etc

· Highly proficiency in English.
