Business Process Consultant - ServiceNow

Your Role

Business process consultant II at Cognizant is someone who has strong responsibility for delivering Process Improvement engagements by facilitating the “Future State” process design and modeling for clients. Would also be responsible for taking the clients to the next level of process maturity in terms of “implementation” of improved processes, automation of processes through BBPM solutions. As a secondary responsibility, the Business Process Consultant II would be required to support the Business Development teams in pre-sales activities by providing functional and technical support to the BD team in building the right solutions based on the client requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers workshops and demos.
  • Process expertise in one or more areas
  • Provides process definition guidance and best practices.
  • Monitoring of deliverables before implementation.
  • Manage client communications to ensure the effectiveness of the process strategy.
  • Process development and maintain optimization programs.
  • Update and maintain all process documentation.
  • Design processes and standardize, improve or redesign existing ones.
  • Design new processes to improve service delivery and maintain client relationships ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Preparing documentation for deliverables such as business documents and supporting management activities such as budget management.
  • Act as a point of contact between the client and the technical team regarding process-related concerns.
  • Maintain the whole operational process in compliance with the quality standards and contractual requirements determined by the company.
  • Prepare and run Workshop sessions for requirements gathering.
  • In conjunction with Sales Personnel, Solution Consultants, conduct transition briefings - communicate commitments and expectations in preparation for engagements

What You Will Bring To The Team

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Information Technology, Engineering, or the Sciences
  • Professional Certification CPDE (Required or equivalent) ITIL v3 or 4 (Required) Six Sigma (Desirable) Agile (Desirable) Prosci (Desirable) TOGAF (Desirable)
  • Should have their SN Certifications: CSA Business Process for Implementation
  • 4+ years’ experience in process development, management, and improvement
  • 2+ years’ experience in ServiceNow
