Your goal

Marktlink Capital specializes in helping individual investors access top Private Equity and Venture Capital funds across Europe and North America. We're actively seeking a full-time Operations Director to join our Amsterdam team.

In this role, you'll be a driving force behind our operational processes, strategic initiatives, and company culture. It's a chance to make a real impact in the dynamic world of Private Equity (PE) and Venture Capital (VC).

Your responsibilities

As our Operations Director, you'll lead efforts to refine our operations, support strategic initiatives, and foster our company culture. Your role will include:

• Develop and implement strategies for entering new markets, including market research, regulatory compliance, and establishing local partnerships;
• Lead the development and launch of new investment products, ensuring they meet market demand and regulatory requirements;
• Analyze existing workflows and processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs;
• Collaborating on HR initiatives such as compensation strategies, recruitment management, and talent development;
• Guiding the implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs/OKR);
• Mentoring and coaching team members for career growth;
• Leading performance management to ensure team success and drive continuous improvement;

Your profile

• A Masters degree in any relevant field;
• 7+ years of proven experience in operational leadership roles, ideally within the financial or investment sector (Head of Operations, Chief of Staff, Strategy etc.);
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive initiatives from conception to implementation;
• Exceptional communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills;
• A results-driven mindset, with a focus on driving efficiency and continuous improvement;
• A proactive and dynamic approach to leadership; motivating and developing teams to achieve their full potential;
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
