Action is growing extremely fast internationally, which means the number of employees is growing steadily along with it. Today, more than 70,000 employees use our HR applications, such as our time registration tool Kronos (WFC and Pro WFM), which is why we set up these systems as optimally and stably as possible. As a Sr. Application Analyst, you know how to continuously facilitate our business and suppliers in the right way in a constantly changing environment. 😊
As a Sr. Application Analyst – Kronos (UKG), you will join the Business Technology (BizTech) team focusing on HR. You realise the initiatives on the technology roadmap, and, with the teams, you support our Technology business objectives. The people who work for us make the difference. Stabilisation and optimisation of our HR and store processes is therefore extremely important, and as an application analyst you will be contributing to this. You know everything about HR-related applications, where your position will focus on Kronos (WFC and Pro WFM), but you will also support other applications such as Peopledoc. Your focus will be on application management, and you will ensure, together with our suppliers, that we translate business requirements into requirements, together with the implementation of change requests by the business, for example from the HR department or via Store Operations. Together with the business, you will set priorities, specify test requirements and ensure workarounds or implementations in standard software are possible. In addition to the incidents you pick up. To this end, you will work closely with the service delivery manager and solution architect.
Major projects we have recently completed in the team include the implementation of the new countries Switzerland and Portugal, new contract types in France to properly pay overtime and the introduction of new collective labour agreement rules. For these projects, you will continuously be the point of contact. One of the biggest projects at this moment is the transition from Workforce central to Pro WFM (both from UKG). How do you make a difference in this role? You do that by constantly being ahead of the game and setting things up more efficiently.
At Action you will find a positive working atmosphere with a committed, cost-conscious, customer-oriented and culturally diverse team. We enjoy working together and have an important company philosophy: simplicity in everything we do. Action Technology works with specialist teams for Enterprise Architecture, IT Project & Portfolio Management, Development & Operations and Business Technology (Biztech).
Action Technology has multiple Application Analysts with whom you will discuss overarching topics. You will be a part of the Biztech HR Tech team.
You are pragmatic and results-oriented. You feel at home in a dynamic organisation in which you switch seamlessly between your different activities. You will communicate at a business level with application specialists, business process owners and suppliers, among others. In doing so, you will also ensure punctual documentation so that every stakeholder is perfectly informed about the status of the work you are doing.
You also have the following:
Quite a lot, actually! We're now up to more than 2,700 stores in 12 countries and millions of smiles from our customers – and we're not stopping there, because we have major growth ambitions, both for Action and you. Our growth means you can always take new steps to develop as a professional, whether that means a different position, an interesting innovation project or new skills. And you can do all that in a culture where we truly embrace our shared values: customer focus, teamwork, simplicity, discipline, cost-consciousness and respect. You can also count on Action for the following:
If you only know Action from the stores, a world will open up for you when you join us. For example, we are working hard behind the scenes to make a positive impact on society and the environment. Did you know, for example, that we sponsor more than 2,000 children worldwide who are growing up in an SOS Children’s Village? That our team reflects the diversity of our customers, including 124 nationalities? That we already source 70% of our wood products and 86% of our cotton sustainably? And that only energy-efficient LED lighting is used in more than half of our stores? Yes, that is also Action. Curious about what other initiatives we’re facilitating? Join our team and find out for yourself.
