Manager Digital End-to-End

Are you passionate about driving digital transformation and spearheading innovative projects? Join our newly created team as Manager Digital End-to-End, where you will play a crucial role in advancing our End-to-End Supply Chain (E2E SC) and Research & Development (R&D) digital initiatives. As the Manager Digital E2E, you will drive strategic digital and Data & Analytics (D&A) areas within the E2E domain, and work with cutting-edge technologies such as GenAI, Graph databases, and Predictive/Prescriptive analytics. You'll bring in relevant outside-in innovations to propel our organization forward. 😊

Wat we vragen

  • An academic or Master's degree (WO) with over 12 years of experience in digital roles.
  • Proven experience in a business domain (Supply Chain and/or R&D is preferred) or leading a digital unit and experience in leading data scientists/data science programs.
  • Proficiency in data engineering/data science (e.g., programming in SQL/Python/R, AI/ML, self-service BI).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • A proactive attitude and owner’s mindset to help shape the new team. Transparent communication style.
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels is essential. You will work with LT members and their leadership teams, IT (D&A) directors/managers.
  • Next to this there is a lot of external communication with technical experts, consultancies, network groups, and industry contacts for best practice sharing.

In this role you will manage the End-to-End team (8-10FTE). This team is designed to drive synergy across Supply Chain, Procurement and R&D, and advancing Supply Chain maturity with digital means by combining capabilities. You will lead this effort and bring new technologies and best industry practices into Supply Chain and R&D. You report into the Director Digital Supply Chain and R&D and are part of the Global Supply Chain organization.

  • Own and prioritize a digital portfolio of E2E Supply Chain and R&D projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals. The roadmap consists of 20-40 projects annually.
  • Contribute to the creation of a Digital Vision & Strategy, including crucial make/buy decisions.
  • You will manage a team of 8-10 FTEs, and contractors as needed.
  • Innovate with AI: Identify, develop, and deliver digital/AI use cases across E2E Supply Chain and R&D, supporting digital adoption.
  • Scan for emerging technologies and developments and bring the most impactful technologies to FrieslandCampina.
  • Contribute to cross-domain prioritization, ensuring impactful technologies are brought into the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior domain stakeholders to ensure digital initiatives align with business needs.
  • Elevate digital maturity by aligning with Business Partnering Managers and driving synergy across Supply Chain, Procurement, and R&D.
