In this position you maintain the Offshore Energy Lifting & Rigging stock at the storage yards. You manage the timely inspection, (re)certification and handling of the equipment with the assistance of subcontractors. Also, you do the verification of incoming materials against the purchase order and report any discrepancy. You arrange the transportation from and to projects and storage yards. Next to this, you are also responsible for:

  • Ensure the Lifting & Rigging equipment is properly conditioned;
  • Monitor, inspect, and register purchased, rented, and owned Lifting & Rigging equipment, while being the point of contact for project teams for information on tracking and tracing of Lifting Equipment;
  • Perform (and or arrange) a material reconciliation of all Lifting & Rigging Equipment upon completion of projects while ensuring storage, disposal, and/or return of Lifting & Rigging equipment to storage yard;
  • Pro-actively identify and introduce opportunities for improvement;
  • Setting up workflow & internal rigging warehouse processes.

In the role of Asset Coordinator Lifting & Rigging Equipment, you are partially based at the Gorinchem office, mainly at our subcontractor storage yard in Rotterdam and sometimes at project sites during mobilization and de-mobilization. As part of the Transport & Installation Unit, you will report to the Asset Manager Lifting & Rigging and work closely with Offshore Energy project teams and Van Oord logistics/purchasing colleagues.
