THE ROLE

Are you looking for a graduation internship where you can apply your analytical and organizational skills within a leading company in the maritime industry? Damen Naval offers a unique opportunity to work on optimizing our planning methodology.

THE CHALLENGE

During this internship, you will deal with these challenges:

• Investigate how Damen Naval's planning methodology can be structured to optimally support system engineering, with an emphasis on compliance, requirements, and deliverables.
• Use insights from previous projects and theoretical models to propose and implement improvements.
• This research is crucial to ensure projects meet all technical requirements and standards, helping to increase efficiency and predictability in our complex shipbuilding projects.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Studying a Bachelor's study in the field of Technical Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a similar field.
• Interest in planning processes and eager to learn more about it.
• Strong analytical skills, proactive, and result-oriented.
• Proficiency in English and Dutch.
• Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process.
• Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required. Candidates with EU (work) visa or with both an EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible in accordance with the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.
