Portfolio control

• Develop and maintain a holistic vision of the change needs of the value stream, aligned with the business strategy and objectives;
• Lead the change portfolio team, including the development of investment proposals, business cases, and roadmaps for change initiatives;
• Chair the portfolio board and be linking pin to portfolio committee.

Improve value steering

• Estimate and quantify the realization value of epics/initiatives;
• Prioritize Business & BTO portfolio based on quantified value vs quantified effort of epics/initiatives;
• Improving fact-based, quantified value estimation by continuously analyzing and benefit tracking of (previous) initiatives.

Dynamic portfolio management

• Making initiatives and epics/features as small as possible to optimize value/effort allocation;
• Timely termination / handover to run organization of initiatives and epics/features based on realized value;
• Optimize portfolio timing to minimize the value risk of early/late delivery (e.g. starting early vs delivering late on compliancy regulation),

Roadmapping

• Identify and manage technical, skill and resourcing dependencies between initiatives and ensure the involvement of the right stakeholders (Business, Tech, Data or external parties);
• OKR advising & reporting;
• Support in translating strategic themes to objectives and key results.

Jouw profiel en achtergrond

• A Master’s degree in computer science or business administration, or related (technical) discipline;
• Proven knowledge of the portfolio management;
• Relevant experience with Agile and releasemanagement in a complex (multi-vendor) environment;
• Knowledge of the designated field/domain, the maintenance- and workprocesses, services and (system-)functionalities;
• Social skills for intensive alignment, discussions and advise towards the business organization and BTO;
• Excellent business case writing;
• Excellent communicative skills: strong verbal and presentation skills;
• English professional working proficiency;
• Knowledge and experience with agile frameworks such as SAFE, Scrum, XP, and product- and project portfolio management;
• Extensive knowledge of processes, methods, structures and cultures within business and IT/Technology-organizations;
• Expert knowledge regarding IT-governance and (project) portfolio management.

Bachelor: 10-12 years of relevant experience in the working field of business technology & data, preferably in business analysis or portfolio management. Master: 5-7 years of relevant experience in the working field of business technology & data, preferably in business analysis or portfolio management.

BTO will secure solid foundations through seamless end-user services (UX), industry-leading cybersecurity setup and resilient data centers and cloud infrastructure. BTO will have consistent business/BTO alignment, strategic partnerships with vendors and clear standards on architecture, vendor & portfolio management and security. BTO will unlock value of data and digital by building all the necessary enablers (incl. data platform, data governance processes, capabilities) and embedding innovation initiatives into business roadmaps.
