What will you be doing?

As a working student, you work as a fully-fledged team member in our Tax Reporting & Strategy practice. In the three months that you work with us, you will be guided by an experienced colleague. As a working student you will learn about what our professionals experience on a daily basis and you will get a good idea of ​​the work that awaits you if you are a permanent employee at PwC. A mutual asset and a great learning experience in the last phase of your studies.

These are your main responsibilities:

  • You advise and support companies with regard to optimizing (automating) fiscal and financial processes.
  • You are involved in preparing (complex) tax returns and preparing/checking the tax position in the annual accounts (Dutch Gaap / IFRS / US GAAP).
  • You advise and support clients on tax accounting issues.
  • With the help of data extraction and software solutions, you help customers make optimal use of their financial and tax data to meet their compliance and reporting obligations as quickly as possible (for example: corporate income tax return, Country-by-Country reporting).

  • In addition, you are available at least three days a week.
  • You are studying Tax Law, Tax Economics, Tax & Technology or another relevant university education in (Business) Economics, Accountancy, (Technical) Business Administration, Econometrics, Mathematics, provided you have an affinity with the field;
  • You like to analyze and solve new issues in a practical and creative way;
  • You have an excellent command of the English and Dutch language;
  • You are curious about the (technological) developments within your field and are driven to make a difference with your team;
