Purpose of Role

Under Armour is looking for a Senior Professional, Marketing Impact Analyst to join the EMEA Marketing Planning & Operations team based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The position reports directly to the Sr. Manager Marketing Planning & Operations for EMEA. This role is focused on, and contributes to, optimizing marketing effectiveness through gathering and analyzing data, including the build and use of data processing system(s) to improve data collection efficiency and presentation of said data points. To be successful in this role, you should have experience and be comfortable with processing and analyzing marketing data. Ultimately, you will help ensure we spend our marketing budget efficiently and reach our target audience effectively.

Your Impact

  • Contribute to making informed decisions on marketing strategy and plan – by gathering and sorting relevant data points.
  • Build and manage marketing impact dashboard, i.e., pull all relevant data points into a cohesive overview to track and report out on marketing performance against plan.
  • Measure ROI of initiatives across the marketing mix – i.e., monitor budget distribution and performance.
  • Review and report on marketing campaign results – ultimately to recommend campaign optimizations.
  • Identify opportunities to drive improvement of marketing effectiveness.
  • Optimize Marketing Mix Modeling in collaboration with media agency.
  • Analyze sales funnels and customer intent - understand consumer behavior and explore market trends and opportunities.
  • Work in close partnership with Lead, Consumer Insights & regional marketing functional teams.
  • Be a key point of contact for key functions outside of the marketing org considering data input.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
  • +4 years of experience as a Marketing Analyst (or similar role) or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Analytical abilities; This role requires a blend of marketing savvy and technical expertise. At the core of this technical skill set are programming languages that allow you to extract, analyze, and visualize data, making it actionable for marketing strategies.
  • Ability to quickly orient within a matrixed marketing & sales organization and hit the ground running working with varied cross-functional key stakeholders.
  • Expertise in Google Analytics, Good knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Expert communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluency of English is a must.
  • Outstanding collaboration and organizational abilities.
  • Passionate self-starter with a proven ability to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be detail-oriented, resourceful, self-motivated, and proactive.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment. Experience working for either a start-up or high-growth organization is a plus.
  • Experience working for a global brand with a strong, premium, and distinct culture.
